I post quite a lot. So those stumbling across my journal and seeing one or a handful of entries might not think so. I had to make my journal a friends only kind of deal since there were a few bad apples spoiling the bunch.

09:03 pm - Turning into crazy dog lady

What happens when you wash a dog bed, and place it in a kennel that normally have to force doggies into (because they want to attack toys, and make beds and biscuits out of the couch)

Course Captain Big butt fuckin fluffy muffin britches (he seems to like the name) won by squishing the chihuahua and putting her in her place. ok ok so his given name is Shrek...





No chihuahuas were harmed in this event. She may have gotten her ego bruised but that's about it.

Laundry day..is like treat day. They hear the dryer go off, me get the clothes basket and they all cry because they want to surf in it...silly monkeys it's not clean anymore if you roll around in it...chances are that's why I had to wash it *again* in the first place.

We've been searching for a food that Slim can eat..he refuses wet food...kibbles n bits is too hard (even the soft pieces) He has a terrible mouth. His jaw is hanging on by ONE tooth that will inevitably fall out.

I recently was reading about a newer Shredded dog food made by Purina.

OMG *cries* it's perfect. Slim is happy to eat again. He CAN, and WILL eat again.

wow. GOOD cause this poor little dude deserves a WIN. (well other than the time he peed on Kobain)




It has the neatest damn texture. Reminds me of chicken strip breading.

we seem to be the place where pregnant, abused and or otherwise neglected dogs end up. I'm up to my ears in dog hair and lickin's

Everyone is spayed or neutered, up to date on all vetting and under care for any issues arising (just to answer the question) These dogs are beyond spoiled!

very very violent wind and driving rain looked outside the small glasspane of front door and it goes from eerily redish see all outside pitch black. we snuck in some naps which was weird to hear all the howling and stuff hitting the house..and not be able to see anything..no ambient light from alarm clocks and tivo..just darkness. .................have a inverter and car battery here...going to try watching some news on our jerry rigged tv

Slim and Pudge are off to the vet. They see the leashes and run straight for the door and sit.

07:09 am - SLIM UPDATE- But not.

I took a sleeping pill BEFORE we noted Slim's eye. I was on my way out to sleep and count sheep. I tried to stay up as long as I could.

Alas, I couldn't.

So Serena came and took Slim...thank you so much!

I still don't know what's wrong or nothing I just know I had to come in to work.

I feel pretty useless, but Paul is handling it. He's salary so missing a few hours doesn't really get him in trouble at work.

Slim is trying to get better reception however. He has a cone on :(

09:28 am - Happy Halloween...and shit.

The dogs woke me up doing the morning Emergency Alert System (i.e. we will ***shat again in your house if you don't listen to our low whine, hum)

So I get up to let them out and there is a black cat in the back yard. Every dog tries to run back inside. I mean there is a bottleneck at the back door of dogs trying to run from the black cat.

Are they fucking superstitious or what?

Yup, it's halloween.

And I swear the first kid that trick or treats here (we have our lights off now since the dogs are just too hard to control *, and we eat all the candy before the kids get it anyway) is getting a free dog in their bag.

**Additionally Slim and Pudge have learned how to sing from the other dogs at first they used to just stare, do the head tilt and prance off like they were too good. Now they joined in the reindeer games.
